In the creation story, the serpent represented the first voice to ever lie to mankind leading to the deception that truth is based on the knowledge of good and evil. Once a man has learned the truth based on their processed knowledge they magically will be enlightened, or some similar belief. Mathematicians search for it in numbers, scientist looks for it in the particles of creation (calling it evolution), archeologist look for it in the debris of the past, and astrologers look for it in the moon, the stars, and the planets.

It is written that in the end-times good will be called evil, or spoken of as evil, and evil will be called good or spoken of as good. All are being manifested on the earth. When mankind uses God as a reason to hate they are using good as a reason for evil, or speaking evil of good and good of evil. Knowledge of good and evil is not the way to truth. The classifications of good and evil changes with the wind, but truth is eternal. When a lie is told about truth the truth does not change, only the perceived knowledge of the truth. When the truth is spoken into a lie, knowledge only changes if truth is believed. Knowledge itself is a fickled thing. It is based purely on what you can get people to believe, true or not.

It was once said, “History belongs to the victor.” The history we have been taught and are being taught is altered. I do not believe any more that history belongs to the victor. History is now a weapon used to alter the perception of reality. In other words history is polluted with misinformation, even the history of near events like yesterday or earlier today. The misinformation is then twisted by spin-doctors so we look kindly at their opinion and with a watchful eye at different opinions. So knowledge is not based on truth and when it is, we have been lied to so much we don’t believe it.

There are some that say truth is absolute. The argument states truth is always truth. If today is Sunday, and you say it is Sunday that is true. But it is not truth because truth cannot change. If on Monday you say it is Sunday that is not true. Is that saying the names given the days of the week are not a truth? Not sure. Every time you say Sunday is Sunday on Sunday it is true, so it is relative and not absolute. So what is all this saying? For something to be truth it must always be truth in all relationships between all things. What we believe, any of us, is based more on faith than it is on truth or the knowledge of truth.

What I believe I choose to believe by faith and not the knowledge or perceived knowledge of good and evil. People may be able to argue against the knowledge (what they know about what I believe) but no one can argue that I do not believe what I believe. Only the spirit of the man knows, in other words only the mind and heart of the man knows his beliefs by faith. That is why I pray for the heart of the Father who sent the Son, and the mind of the Son who believed in the Father so completely that His belief outlived death and the grave. I believe that the Spirit of God is love, sent to teach us of the sacrifice of the Father in the giving of His Son for our salvation separate from the knowledge of good and evil.
