Short Messages 2018

Short Messages 2019

December 28, 2018
There are some people gifted at sitting with you quietly, some gifted at cooking and cleaning when you need a break (they have to be active), some gifted at helping with the kids while you take a stress break, and some gifted at preaching. Different gifts, all important. Help is the help you need at the time.

December 27, 2018
A door is the part of the wall that lets someone or something pass through. Jesus said He was the door where those that enter are made safe and may go in and out and find pasture (the more abundant life).

December 14, 2018
When Jesus said that the son of man has the power to forgive sins on earth, He was referring to all the children of Adam. Humanity has always had the power to forgive sins on the earth. He wasn’t giving power to a few men to dole out. He was telling us all that we have the power to forgive.

December 12, 2018
God so loved the world that He was in Jesus reconciling all the world to Himself. The birth of the Child was a physical manifestation of the Spirit, filled with the Spirit. A uniting of Creator and creation, truly God with us. The Creator so loved the earthen vessels that He was in His Son freeing all the world and not imputing their trespasses to them.

December 11, 2018
Understanding doesn’t mean agreement. Understanding can be the awareness that everyone is not just like you. People can and do have their own thoughts and beliefs. Yours is exactly as different from theirs as theirs is from yours. Let not mercy and faithfulness leave you.

December 8, 2018
The Church should not be Jonah on the hilltop waiting for the world to be punished. We should be in the highways and byways pointing to a reconciling God of mercy and grace. We are not a perfect people looking to bring sinners into our midst for salvation. We are sinners washed clean and reconciled to God by the works of God. We declare the works of God we ourselves so desperately need.

December 7, 2018
It is easy enough to say, “Love everyone.” A lot of people want the list of how to love everyone. There is no list. Love was the created state of being before the knowledge of good and evil. Since the first man and woman chose to take that knowledge, we have no history of the created state. Love is not physical acts, but spiritual rebirth.

December 6, 2018
We have never tried love as a whole, as humanity. If we have never tried love, we have never fully experienced God. Even when there was only two people on earth, we chose another way.

November 19, 2018
Jesus said if a brother repents forgive him. The requirement is forgive him, and not wait until he repents to forgive him. Look for a way to forgive, and not a way out of forgiving. No one was repenting when Jesus said, “Father forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” The requirement is forgive. “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you” (Matthew 5:14).

November 18, 2018
Whatever you think about who God is and what He can and will do, you missed it. “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever” (Ephesians 3:20-21). Even with His power working in us, we are unable to comprehend God’s gifts to us. Let the anointing teach, but keep in mind you will not be able fully comprehend.

November 17, 2018
Jesus was not part of the religious system, but He was and is the head of the Church!

November 16, 2018
How does the knowledge of good and evil relate to suffering? When we choose that which satisfies the flesh only and proclaim it to be the only good (and anything that opposes the desires of the flesh to be evil), we please our flesh without regard for the suffering of others. The needs and desires of the flesh need to be tempered with the spirit of love.

November 15, 2018
We trust in His faith, are clothed in His righteousness, and are thankful His grace is enough. Without faith it is not possible to please Him (give Him the desire of His heart). To turn to Him you must believe He exists!

November 12, 2018
Let love be without pretense. Love one another without the all too common “church talk.” Let love be without the hypocrisy of self-gain; the infamous “what’s in it for me.” There can be no obedience without love.

November 11, 2018
“As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God” (1 Peter 4:10). To do this we might have to move away from man’s traditional “theater church” to more of being the Church everywhere we are. When we gather, gather together to serve one another as good stewards of the grace of God. It is written, “And above all things have fervent love for one another” (1 Peter 4:8a).

November 9, 2018
Faith isn’t what connects you, God was in Christ reconciling you to Himself. The Spirit is the unseen force connecting us to the Almighty; who has never left you, has worked the work of belief, and has gifted you with faith. Give all glory to the Giver!

November 8, 2018
Give glory (honor, high respect) to God, who created us in His likeness and image; who made us to be temples of His Holy Spirit. The same Spirit who seals us and is the anointing who teaches us and guides us in the Way.

November 7, 2018
We who wait on the Lord are not tabernacles in the wilderness, but temples of the Spirit of the Most High. It is written, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life” (John 5:24).

November 6, 2018
Turning back to God is relying on God for the desires of your heart and trusting God to bring the desires to life. “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” (John 10:10).

November 4, 2018
Good is any force moving you towards your goal. Evil is any force trying to stop you from moving towards your goal. Double minded is having two conflicting goals and two opposing forces both seen as good and evil simultaneously. It is written, “In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”

October 29, 2018
Your testimony may be the sign God is using to call out to travelers on the highways and byways. You may never see the results of the signs that follow you. Your testimony might be someone’s first step on the journey to a more abundant life. Share the gospel! To God be the glory!

October 28, 2018
The ministry gifts are servant gifts given to the body. They are not people with gifts given to the body. The body are the people the servant gifts are given to.

October 27, 2018
We differ in the ways we proclaim the Way. We minister to different needs or different aspects of the same needs. When we “Go,” we go into different highways and byways. We are led by the same Lord to go.

October 26, 2018
The rest in the Lord is because of His peace given to us. If someone asks you to forgive them, let them know you have forgiven them. If they do not ask, forgive them in your heart. Once you have forgiven in your heart, as far as you’re concerned, the issue is no longer an obstacle to peace.

October 25, 2018
One of life’s treasures is sharing with someone the things that are important to them.

October 23, 2018
The proclamation of the father to elder son was that the younger brother was dead and is alive again and was lost and is found, because of the prodigal living. The father did not deny that the younger son was a son of his father and a sibling of his brother while he was lost.

October 22, 2018
Can you love the people religion is trying to teach you to hate? Learn from the Spirit who produces love!

October 21, 2018
You don’t have to know why you are sharing your testimony with someone. If you are being led share, but share it as a testimony not as the law of how to. But then again that is not a law, just a suggestion.

October 20, 2018
We will never heal the world imitating empires that have caused to world to be damaged! God judges the heart! Believe from the heart. Let the grace of God saturate your heart.

October 13, 2018
“Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls” (Matthew 11:29). Learn from Christ Jesus, from the Spirit sent to remind you of what He said and teach you everything, and find rest for your life. We are all brethren. Love one another and find rest for your life. It is written, “Do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ.”

October 12, 2018
No matter how many places people want to remove the evidence of God, all of creation remains to remind us. With all the reminders, love is still the greatest! Turn your face and mind to God, He is still there wherever you are. Love one another, without prejudice in defining one another (love everyone). Respect one another – help one another.

October 11. 2018
“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God” (1 Corinthians 1:18). The foolish things confounding the wise is not speaking of the uneducated, but those who study to show themselves approved of God; those the world considers foolish for giving God the glory.

October 10, 2018
Meditate on God. Let the Spirit lead and follow what the Spirit produces. Love is the key that unlocks a door that will never be closed. If you are not declaring love, then you preach in vain. We are called to be the righteousness of God abiding in His righteousness, and His righteousness abiding in us; manifested as His love towards one another.

October 9, 2018
Separate from faith it is not possible to fulfill God’s desire, for one must have faith that God is and does reward those who seek Him. For it is His desire to give us the kingdom, and it is His work that we believe. He is faithful and grants us faith though which grace abounds. He rewards us for having faith in His faithfulness, and He causes blessing to be delivered to the righteous and the unrighteous.

October 4, 2018
Unity does not make you a human mindlessly controlled by the rules of unity. Unity can be in one thing, and that one thing guide our mores. Our unity can be, and it has been requested of us, to love one another. Against such there is no law.

October 3, 2018
People may not like reading or hearing that the same God who worked a work for someone they disagree with or dislike is the same God who worked a work for them, but that’s the gospel. Like it or not!

October 2, 2018
We are not all the same person with the same dreams and meditations. We are many humans with dreams and meditations. Love one another is not just a neat sounding jargon. It is a phrase we use to speak of respecting and protecting one another’s dreams and meditations. Value your neighbor’s dreams and meditations as you do your own.

October 1, 2018
“But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins” (Mark 2:10a). That was His answer to, ”Who can forgive sins, but God?” The child of a human being has the authority on earth to forgive sins. Human beings have that authority!

September 30, 2018
There is misinformation floating around that everyone who believes in Christ does so based on fear. Fear is not a prerequisite to belief. Good news is not something a person would normally fear.

September 29, 2018
Those who do not believe are already condemned, and the saved where once some of the condemned. Jesus came to change things! Jesus didn’t come to condemn the world. There was plenty of that here already. He came so the world might be saved in Him.

September 28, 2018 PM
It is written “And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world.” We were all unbelievers once, condemned by unbelief. That is not the end of the story!

September 28, 2018 AM
Whatever you believe, someone will disagree. Whatever you imagine, someone will imagine differently. Whatever you see, someone will see from a different angle. Those are not reasons to stop believing, imagining, or seeing.

September 27, 2018
An apple can be red is true. There are more ways to describe an apple but the statement as presented is true. I can have a green apple for lunch, but it is still true that an apple can be red. It is not a complete set of all the attributes of an apple, but it is a true statement. Love is a product of the Holy Spirit. There are other things you can say about love, and other things you can say about the Spirit. You can choose to believe in either or neither, but it will not change what I believe about the source of love.

September 25, 2018
Gathering on Sunday morning for a service is a tradition not a commandment. The theater style building is a tradition not a commandment. Sharing the gospel is the ministry of all believers anytime and anywhere.

September 24, 2018
We cannot earn grace, but we can forgive others. We cannot earn or pay for a free gift , but we can tell a hurting world about the gift. Preaching is not a platform or pulpit event. Preaching is proclaiming the gospel of grace right where you are.

September 23, 2018 PM
Jesus came to save us. He separates us from the law of curses and death by being life for us! While my physical body rebels, in my spirit I am alive in Him as long as He is life in me. His Spirit gives me life abundantly in Him.

September 23, 2018 AM
Faith is the evidence of things not seen, so how can one judge someone’s faith by what is seen? People are not going to understand your personal relationship with God. Personal is personal, they are not all the same.

September 22, 2018
I do not believe Jesus came from heaven to bring us more rules. He came to show us love and grace, and to give us the message of reconciliation. It was God who reconciled us through Christ Jesus, through love and forgiveness.

September 20, 2018
Christ dwelling in our hearts by faith helps us possess the knowing of Christ’s love which surpasses all knowing, and enables us to be filled with the fullness of God. Believing focuses our attention on the faithful works of the fullness of God in our life.

September 18, 2018
Back in the woods down a winding road was an old house. The living room was a meeting hall. The dining room was an outreach and two bedrooms storage areas. One bedroom was the caretaker’s room. Donation were given and accepted anytime the caregiver was home and awake. Anyone who visited got a cup of coffee or tea and a prayer.

September 17, 2018
It is written about Jesus, “He did only a few miracles there because of their unbelief.” He had the faith He needed but those around Him lacked belief, because they thought they knew who He was.

September 16, 2018
We don’t know what others go through and we don’t know their heart. So we’re judging people by what we don’t know. Stop judging!

September 15, 2018
Don’t let anyone sit on your ministry gifting, because they choose one of the giftings as a title. The anointing dwells with you and is your mentor. Respect those who serve, and expect respect from those who serve. Your ministry gift is a servant gift, given to you by a King who came to serve.

September 13, 2018
We can expect love from God. We can receive love where we are whole. We can give love filtered by our experiences. The more of God’s love we recognize (allow to heal us), the more love will flow from us.

September 10, 2018
“His prayer was not only for those who walked with Him and received His teachings personally, but for believers throughout time. Jesus did not pray for the same oneness for the world, but that the world would believe that God sent Him. Once the world believed they would then become, “those who believe in Me through their word.” Abiding in Christ Jesus they would be part of the one.” (from the book, “One In Heaven” by Tim D. Coulter Sr.)

September 9, 2018
Jesus said, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). He didn’t ask us to get perfect and then come to Him. All who are still laboring under false authorities and misconceptions, come. All who still carry the heavy load of this world’s systems, come. All who are suffering addictions, come.

September 8, 2018
Our need for Jesus is our need to love and forgive one another. God has already reconciled us to Himself. We need reconciled to one another. If you say you love God but hate your siblings, you need to rethink the issues. The message of reconciliation is ours; “Love one another.”

September 7, 2018
You cannot pay the price already paid, or do the works that are already finished! But you can be thankful and live accordingly.

September 6, 2018
It is difficult to have a unique rule for every situation life presents. A single rule is more practical. “Love one another.” Now that’s a practical single rule. Don’t think to much about it or you’ll think yourself into a unique rule of love for every situation life presents.

September 5, 2018
All this self-love preaching is healing as long as it is accompanied by, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” While you’re at it, love one another as you have been loved by the One who is love.

September 4, 2018
God has done the work of salvation through Christ Jesus. It is written, “that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation” (2 Corinthians 5:19).

September 2, 2018
It is written, “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace” (Hebrews 4:16a). We can come with assurance to the seat of grace because we have a chief priest who knows our weakness. We can confess our weakness to One whose judgement is mercy and grace in times of need.

August 23, 2018
Too often we judge another’s salvation by our own walk. “When I was saved I did . . . and they haven’t.” We even preach about, “The 7 ways God does it,” as if all things are not possible and we know the limitations. Be a witness of the gospel of grace, but don’t limit another’s testimony by making yours the law of what and how.

August 22, 2018
If you did all the things everyone else thinks you should be doing, you wouldn’t have time to be yourself. And all the contradictions make it impossible anyway. Be yourself!

August 21, 2018
There are some who walk beside you, some who cross your path for a moment or a season, and some whose walk continually crosses your path. The Spirit guides where the Spirit guides.

August 20, 2018
No one else can fix you. They can boldly go to the throne room and ask God to intervene in your situation, but the ultimate results are between God and you. You have that option yourself, to boldly go before the throne of God. The first step to getting your heart fixed is to admit it is broken. The same is true of most things in your life. You are probably not trying to get help for something you don’t see as an issue.

August 19, 2018
It is written, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations.” You never know for sure the battle another is fighting. It may be time for you to shout and dance, and a season for another to be still. Leave room for God to lead.

August 18, 2018
We do not change to receive reconciliation with God, reconciliation with God, championed by God, changes us. We do not need reconciliation to see the need for change. One being harmed knows the need to be released from harm. Not believing is enough for us to know we have turned our mind away.

August 17, 2018
Some people are in your life for a season because their life, guided by God, takes them to another highway or byway than your life, guided by God, takes you. They remain loved ones, siblings, friends, and coworkers in Christ.

August 16, 2018
One of the greatest moments in life is the moment you realize that, even while your mind was turned away, God was working in your life. Your works did not separate you from God nor did they bring you back. He was always there, always God. Believe from your heart. Acknowledge God!

August 15, 2018
No good deed goes unpunished. The reality is the people we try to help are broken. They have little to give except brokenness. Only God can heal the brokenhearted. Only God can remove the blindness and repair the deaf ears. Only God’s grace can remove the punishment people choose for themselves. Our part is to love one another.

August 14, 2018
We all have triggers that bring up our flesh. We all have things that make us angry. As it is written, “Be angry (enraged) and sin (err) not, let the sun not go down on your rage.” Do not harm another with your anger and do not stay angry.

August 13, 2018
We are not strangers, we are sojourners who have not yet met. We are not enemy or friend, we are siblings.

August 12, 2018
We know love because we are loved. As it is written, “He loved us first!”

August 11, 2018
When you give expecting nothing in return, you are not denying prosperity. You are admitting that prosperity isn’t returned from where you give. Prosperity is a gift from God. You receive from God, then you give to humanity.

August 10, 2018
Love is our default, it is working against nature to hate!

July 31, 2018
It is written that Jesus said, “Take My yoke and learn from Me, for I am meek and humble, and you will find rest. For My yoke is gracious, kind, easy, and goodness and My burden is light.” For His commandment is, “Love one another as I have loved,” and being yoked with Him is loving each other alongside Him.

July 30, 2018 PM
You never know someone’s heart, you’re just fooling yourself to imagine you do. You have an opinion about someone. An opinion is not enough to judge. Opinions change, love is eternal. Love is regardless of opinions. Love is what you pour into another, an overflow of what God pours into you. If we love a thing we perceive about a person and our perception changes, how do we relate to that person going forward? Walk by faith and not purely by perception. Love continues, if it’s love of the person and not love of our perception of the person.

July 30, 2018 AM
It is written, “Whatever you do, do heartily as if unto the Lord.” A meeting by the well, cave of the dead, gas station, store parking lot, etc. is no less important than Sunday morning service. To the one you are meeting, it may be more important.

July 29, 2018
It is not a calling to tell people what to think. It is not even a calling to teach people how to think. Share your testimony and let people think about it the way they think – the way the anointing teaches them. Having the mind of Christ is the anointing teaching you, and you learning. As it is written, “The Helper the Holy Spirit will teach you all things”

July 27, 2018
There are more ways to assemble yourselves together than Sunday morning and Wednesday evening gatherings. There is bumping into someone at the store or gas station. Seeing someone in the parking lot and stopping to talk. Just to mention a couple.

July 25, 2018
The end of the curse of the law means the end of, “if you do not do this you are cursed,” as well as, “if you do this you are cursed.” The END of the CURSE of the LAW. Not by works, so no one can boast in their own works. Believe!

July 24, 2018
We were not meant to be lords over one another (according to mankind’s definition of a lord). We were meant to be servants (God’s definition of a lord). It is written, “He who is greatest among you shall be your servant.”

July 23, 2018
Even when you act, your intentions can be (and more than likely will be) misunderstood. God judges the spiritual heart – good intentions do not pave the way to destruction!

July 21, 2018
Grace is God working in our lives. God interrupting our prodigal life with the memory that being His servant is better than the life we chose for our self. The sacrifice of God washing us clean. God’s gifts of the garment of salvation, robe of righteousness, and sandals of the gospel of peace. The Spirit of God mentoring us.

July 20, 2018
What part of you existed before God? Not before you heard about God, before God. He created the universe without you. He planned salvation without your help. He had a story and He put you in it. It’s His life He lives in you. His breath you breathe! You have life breathed into you as a gift, and a reborn life given to you by grace through faith as a gift. You’re blessed and you were blessed as a gift, blessed and not cursed.

July 19, 2018
Some preach that love will only take you so far. If I have to hate to get the rest of the way, it isn’t somewhere I want to go.

July 17, 2018
There was a time when I loathed myself, both for what was done to me and my reactions. Then there were actions without a preemptive strike; my actions were the preemptive strike. It was an offensive type of defense. But God was ready and able to be my defense. The battle is His, and victory is ours.

July 16, 2018
“Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who labor for unrighteousness!’”
– Jesus –

The work of self-righteousness is laboring for unrighteousness. We are covered by Him from creation, unless we are cut away for insisting on wearing our own robe of unrighteousness. We believe, confess, and are filled with His righteousness.

July 15, 2018
Our actions and our words are not understood by everyone who sees and hears, and purposely misunderstood and misrepresented by some. God judges the heart, the spirit of our actions and words.

July 5, 2018
The guest He invited were all with one accord (decently and in order) too busy to come to the supper. So He sent His servants to invite the poor, the lame, and the blind and then into the highways and byways to invite everyone in.

July 2, 2018
The gospel message God gave me to share hasn’t changed. His love and forgiveness hasn’t changed. His mercies are still new (fresh) every day. His Spirit still covers the earth. His Son still prays for our unity with God and with one another. He is still anointed to recover the sight of the blind and mend the brokenhearted. His grace still sets us free.

July 1, 2018
When you forgive one who has done you harm, you remove power from the actions that harmed you and change the results. Jesus forgave us on the cross for His suffering at our hands; He has changed death into life and given us grace for condemnation. We still feel sorrow and we suffer, but in Christ we count it all joy. In forgiveness we can continue to love. Our pain and suffering does not have to produce hate. And when the one who has harmed us finds grace and some peace in their life, we do not have to be angry for the kindness shown to them.

June 30, 2018
Have you heard a sermon on the mount or a revival by a well? Did you see the exorcism at the cave of the dead or a child raised during a funeral march? Did you hear preaching in the streets or prayers in all the heavenly languages? Do you go to Church or do you bring the Church to the meeting?

June 23, 2018
Do we really choose our point of view? How much is learned before we have the cognitive ability to choose what to retain and what to discard? Renewing of the mind is a process in which we discard some learned ideas and behaviors, and pick up new ideas and behaviors. The premise statements for positive change are, “Love one another,” and “Bless and do not curse.”

June 22, 2018
Give food to the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, take in the stranger, clothed the naked, visit the sick, and visit those in prison, and do so without bias. Those are the virtuous works Jesus asks of us. You can also call that, “Love one another!” The without bias part, “Bless those who curse you, bless and do not curse.”

June 21, 2018
Failure and punishment, and in turn covering one’s self by blaming someone else, is a learned ideology in a society where grace is only a concept. It is not the personal idea of punishment for failure, but societies, “If you’re not perfect you’ll be punished for an eternity.” Where there is grace the need to blame is eradicated. Grace has you covered.

June 20, 2018
Conditional grace is not dependent on your works, but your faith and your ability to forgive as well as to acknowledge forgiveness. Faith and grace are both gifts from an unconditional love. Share the love. Forgiveness is not your work, the work has been done. Believe!

June 19, 2018
It would be easy to say I don’t understand all the hate, but that wouldn’t be true. I once held things in and couldn’t forgive. But God! It is not that I am something special. What God does He does for us all, no prejudice. Grace does not exclude.

June 18, 2018
“for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus” (Romans 3:23-24). We are only the righteousness of God in Him because we have been saved by grace.

June 15, 2018
Admitting you are a sinner saved by grace is not denying you are the righteousness of God in Christ; it is denying that you are self-righteous.

June 9, 2018
If you walk into the streets and define the neighborhood by one person you meet, your opinion will be flawed. If you define the country by one group of people, your opinion will be flawed. If you define humanity by the actions of one million people your opinion will still be flawed. That is why the new commandment is love one another and not judge one another.

June 8, 2018
There is no gospel that doesn’t include, “God so loved the world.” The gospel is not that difficult. Don’t stone people, forgive them! Don’t curse people, bless them and be like your Father in heaven. Don’t hate on people, love them. Jesus has loved and forgiven you, pass it on!

June 7, 2018
Grace doesn’t mean we can keep living the same way we always have. That is why Jesus left us a new commandment (that we had from the beginning), “Love one another as I have loved you.” One another includes, siblings, neighbors, and enemies! He has already purchased grace; we don’t need buy or earn grace. We need to walk by grace through faith.

June 6, 2018
Everything we need to receive and maintain salvation is by grace through faith. Grace is an eternal gift from an eternal God who is love. We were created in His image and likeness, and rebirth is a new birth in the image and likeness of the created state. By grace through faith we are love.

June 5, 2018
Not everyone reacts the same to the same events. People learn in differing ways – have different triggers that help them retrieve stored information – find different things interesting. Not everyone responses to the same treatment or information in the same way. Being considerate is considering the differences.

May 14, 2018
The gospel is more about healing than placing blame and more about compassion than judging. The gospel is more about grace than about condemnation and more about forgiveness than about accusing. The gospel is more about charity than about greed and worldly possessions. The gospel is more about God than about you.

Fake news is nothing new. Jesus said the enemy came in that very night and planted weeds (a fake gospel), but let it alone until the angles come and remove the fruitless mock gospel. Followers of Jesus know His voice and follow. They are known by their love (His love, His Spirit in them). The fake gospel mocks love and grace.

May 11, 2018
Grace wasn’t given to us to make us the accusers of the world. There is already an accuser. Grace is the word we use to talk about being redeemed from the accuser and destroyer. We haven’t worked our way out. We have been given grace.

May 10, 2018
If God hadn’t called yet, we would still be unbelievers. Kind of takes the self out of the gospel, doesn’t it? “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him” (John 6:44a).

May 9, 2018 evening
When you are the Church, everywhere you go you are the Church. There is no such thing as Church hopping. It is difficult to go into all the world sitting in the same pew every week, unless you take the pew with you.

May 9, 2018 morning
As believers we sometimes forget that unbelievers have experiences with God, they just don’t recognize God in the experience. Part of sharing the gospel is pointing to God in their lives.

May 7, 2018
It is written that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. How then is it that we can be perfect like our Father in heaven? Perfection like salvation is separate from the law that reflects our sin. Love is what perfects. His love working through us by His Spirit perfecting our love. His grace sanctifying us separate from the law.

May 2, 2018
“I was hungry and you gave Me food; thirsty and you gave Me drink; a stranger and you took Me in; naked and you clothed Me; sick and you visited Me; in prison and you came to Me” (see Matthew 25:35-36) How many of those are normally done inside a building with the steeple? How many of those are serving (the true meaning of ministering)? Love one another!

May 1, 2018
There is a tale of two priest’s sons who tried to rebuke an evil spirit. The spirit overcame them and sent them running. As sons of priests they would have been men trained in the scriptures and religion, but they had no relationship with God through Christ Jesus.

April 30, 2018
Sometimes the closer we get to the Father the further away we feel in the flesh. As His righteousness humbles us and our flesh starts denying itself, we see our reflection in the law but if we hang on grace will win. It is not our righteousness, but His righteousness that overcomes.

April 28, 2018
Jonah missed the revival sitting on the hilltop waiting for the city to be destroyed. Jonah knew God’s mercy firsthand and he knew God would show mercy to Nineveh if they looked to God for their help. God spoke to Jonah one-on-one. Jonah had a victory and still missed the revival.

April 27, 2018
For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. (1 Corinthians 2:11). The Spirit of God has been poured out and those who believe receive the Spirit that we may know the things God has freely given to us. The Spirit reveals the gifts of God to the believer. The anointing itself teaches you.

April 24, 2018
It is written that “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me'” (John 14:6). That is not a statement of exclusion, but of inclusion. “For God did not send His Son to the world to condemn the world, but so the world might be saved in Him” (John 3:16).

April 23, 2018
Believing on the sacrifice of Jesus in both heart and mind I can only see grace as the finished work. Who can brag on their own works when compared to the love of Christ? What mind or heart can believe in their own works as anything? Oh Lord how great thou are!

April 22, 2018
If you are the Church you are the Church 24/7, steeple and pulpit not required. Be the Church!

April 21, 2018
God has made a way. Jesus is the Way. Love and grace is the way the Way has provided.

April 20, 2018
If you are suffering from “church hurts” it is time to move on. The stones that the builders have rejected are being gathered in the Spirit, united in the love of God. Don’t listen to the messages of the lost preacher blaming you for past hurts, forgive and let go and let God. Jesus is still saving the lost!

April 19, 2018
Lust sells and feeds greed, while love is given and feeds life more abundantly. Lust depletes while love replenishes.

April 17, 2018
Love needs to be understood in the spirit. The physical only understands physical needs, lust, and greed. God has sent His own Spirit to dwell in the spiritual heart of the temples built with His own hands. Believe and receive the Spirit of love.

April 16, 2018
There are works we do that shows our faith, but they are not what purchased our salvation. Don’t expect non-believers to see your works born out of faith, for the most part they look like charitable deeds. Like, clothed me when I was naked, fed me when I was hungry, gave drink when I was thirsty, visited me when I was ill or in prison, and took me in when I was a stranger.

April 13, 2018
“These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a deceitful tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that exerts oneself in vain imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, a false witness that speaks lies, and he that stirs up strife among brethren” (Proverbs 6:16-19). And not one of them are excluded from grace! They all fail to get past the cross and come out of the tomb. Thank about that the next time you are ranting about an abomination.

Judge not, that you be not judged; we have all sinned and failed to reach glory. The lack of sin is no one’s salvation, except Christ Jesus sinned not and gave us grace from the cross.

April 12, 2018
When He ascended He gave servant gifts to humanity. He did not give us men with titles for us to serve. We serve the Lord by serving one another!

April 11, 2018
You were created to be a temple of God’s Spirit. Your (spiritual) heart is the Holy of Holies unveiled. You were created in the greater temple, the Christ, and are a member of the body. Membership is a birthright and not ritualistic fear or rule based religion.

April 10, 2018
What a relief to know that God is my righteousness and my holiness. I am not in competition with anyone, but free to love and forgive everyone. In my Father’s home there are many rooms, enough for us all.

April 9, 2018
The accusations of the self-righteous did not persuade Jesus, the love of the sinner stirred His compassion. Jesus knew their whispered gossip, “If He was a prophet He would know the virtue of the woman touching Him.” He was and is a prophet who knows the heart. Self-righteousness and not sin separates us from God. The knowledge of good and evil is self-righteousness. The way that seems right, the things that appear good to the eyes, the acknowledgement of one’s own works. Self-righteousness is the enemy of grace.

April 8, 2018
To whom little is forgiven, the same loves little. Whoever loves much, even if their sins be many, are forgiven much. Grace is important because grace is the only way to salvation. Grace is the way the Way has made!

April 5, 2018
When I testify about Jesus’ grace in my life, I cannot do so without telling of God’s love. When I wake in the morning and His mercies are new, I am aware of God’s love. While in a trial full of cheer because Jesus has overcome, I feel the warmth of God’s love. When suffering the ills of an aging body, I know I am homeward bound running towards my Father’s loving arms.

April 4, 2018
Have you messed up and fallen short of the glory? Have you missed the mark too many times to keep score? Have you been rejected and displaced? You are one that Jesus came to rescue. Jesus is the cornerstone and the capstone of your salvation, and a stone the religious and secular world rejected.

March 28, 2018
The same Breath of God who inspired the scriptures is the same Spirit, Breath of God, who teaches you from the Word written on your heart.

March 27, 2018
Knowing the good works God has prepared for you that you should do them can be a good thing. Insisting that other people have to do them to be saved is never a good thing.

March 26, 2018
The most difficult thing to teach or preach is, “Love your enemy.” You can shout the phrase and get an, “Amen,” but it takes more than that to preach it. You have to be willing to preach to your enemy without condemnation.

March 23, 2018
The only way I can love God is to return a portion of the love He has given me. The only way I can love the body of Christ is to pass a portion of that love on. The only way I can love my enemy is for the Spirit of God to produce love in me.

March 22, 2018
The human body was created to be a container for the Spirit to dwell in and flow through. Too many humans are disconnected from the Spirit, wandering aimlessly in the world. Lost to their identity, searching for their own existence. The Spirit is all around, poured out on all the earth – knocking on the door to your heart (the Holy of Holies).

March 20, 2018
The righteousness of God is a being and not a doing only. The being precedes the doing. God has prepared good works that we should do, but our righteousness in Him compels our being to do good works. Even in our unrighteousness we are a being first forgiven by His righteousness – given His righteousness before we believe, while we are yet at enmity with Him.

March 19, 2018
Don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater. You can also say that scripturally. Don’t pull up the tares because with them you may pull up the wheat. Don’t put out the ones being rescued. Don’t dump the believer out with the baptismal water.

March 17, 2018
The gospel is the message of what God has done, is doing, and will do, starting with His love for the world. The message is not about what you can do for God, but what He can and will do for you, in you, and through you.

March 13, 2018
James was not speaking of works to gain faith, but works born out of faith – the good works God has prepared for us. James was not speaking of works to gain salvation, but the works of God in us and through us. “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’” Matthew 25:37-39). James spoke of the same works Jesus spoke of, the righteousness of God being revealed through us.

March 12, 2018
The acknowledgement of the Savior of the world is an acknowledgement of salvation by grace through faith separate from the law, all the way back to the moment Adam and Eve ate the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Now remains faith, hope, and love. The greatest being love.

March 11, 2018
We are not all the same. We have similarities and we have differences, and we all have them in different quantities. We all have talents and gifts, again all in different quantities. We are all instructed to love one another. The one who asks that of us knows we are all unique.

March 10, 2018 PM
The gospel is being preached on sidewalks, in parking lots, hospital rooms, prison visitor rooms, restaurants, bars, over the back fence – the highways and byways. Pulpit not required!

March 10, 2018 AM
It takes the whole body to be the body. From pulpit to janitor’s closet every member ministers to the body in love with grace. Each member is known, by their love for one another, as a follower of the way, the truth, and the life. We are to be a light to those still lost in darkness, salt to the one unable to savor life, compelling the lost to come home. But, when our Lord returns will He find any faithful?

March 9, 2018 PM
The ministry gifts are gifts to help us be greater servants, all of us – the entire body of Christ. Pulpit not required!

March 9, 2018 AM
As ministers one of the reasons we are here is to watch over the bride of Christ – to serve her needs. We are not the bride’s overlord – the bride doesn’t sit under us – we do not collect her dowry. As minister of the gospel, we remind her daily of her groom’s love for her and extend to her all grace. Another reason we are here is to invite those the Lord adds to the Church daily. Reminding them of the Lord’s love, of the price for grace already paid, and of the assurance found in His resurrection. We are not an overlord here either. We don’t sit over anyone here either.

March 8, 2018
Keep hearing preaching claiming if you have not works, love is nothing. When I study what I find is more like, “If you have works and not love, you’re just making noise.” Preaching the gospel is not about making noise, but preaching in love.

March 6, 2018
When we are talking about who matters, everyone does. The person who whole hearty believes the world would be a better place without me, matters. The person who cares that I matter, matters. The person who thanks God for me every day, matters. And so do I.

March 3, 2018
When we are talking about who matters, everyone does. The person who could care less if I matter, matters. The person who believes I cannot matter because I am not like them, matters. The person who whole hearty believes the world would be a better place without me, matters. But so do I.

March 2, 2018
Our hope of a future isn’t that we will all of a sudden be perfect in all our works, but in Christ Jesus who has already been perfect in all His works for us. Faith is an acknowledgement of God for the works He has done for us, a belief from our heart.

March 1, 2018
Nobody has taken God out of our schools, He goes in with everyone who has Him in their heart.

February 28, 2018
A lot of stuff we get upset about is because of past hurts. People say, “Hurting people hurt people,” but forget that hurting people get hurt in areas they are already emotionally bruised. That is part of the uniqueness of an individual. Just because something doesn’t upset you, doesn’t mean it doesn’t upset someone else.

February 27. 2078PM Late
In the parable of the wedding feast of the king’s son, the chosen are the ones, from the highways and byways, who put on the wedding garments, Christ. The garment of salvation and praise, and the robe of righteousness.

February 27, 2018PM
The most despicable person I can think of deserves love and grace. If anyone does, we all do!

February 27, 2018AM
Don’t give too much attention to things you desire not to do! Break bad habits by giving attention to the good habits you desire.

February 26, 2018
Did you swear to never eat again cause you had a bad meal? Makes as much sense as giving up on love. Don’t give up on love, you’re worth it!

February 25, 2018
The same God with you in the brightest light is with you in the darkest hour!

February 23, 2018
The Holy Spirit reminds us of and teaches us the word of God; the word of God is Christ Jesus. The word is a lamp to our feet, a guide to our walk of faith. “He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.” -King David-

February 21, 2018
The idea going around the Church that we have taken grace too far is a fallacy. Using grace as an excuse to sin willfully is not the result of grace, but of the fall of mankind grace is here to undo. It is not up to us judge the heart, but to forgive and love one another.

February 20, 2018
Jesus came as one of us, a shepherd in the field with us. His Spirit has been poured out over all the earth, His presence in all the earth. Nothing or no one can come between us and our God, not even death and the grave.

February 19, 2018
Paul talks about ministry gifts given to the body, gifts given to us all so we can work the works God has prepared for us. The ministry gifts were and are not men who title themselves after the names of the gifts. The commission is a body commission and not a pulpit commission.

February 18, 2018
I am still trying to figure out why the gospel that was good enough when the preacher was at rock bottom and “coming-up” isn’t good enough anymore.

February 16, 2018
We accept by faith that we are taught by the anointing of the Spirit, and by faith we accept what the anointing teaches as knowing. The anointing is teaching you what you need and me what I need to do the good works God has prepared for us; and the anointing is teaching us all to love one another.

February 15, 2018
It’s alright to say, “I don’t know, but I believe.” It’s alright to walk by faith.

February 14, 2018
All my life I have heard the phrase, “Kill ’em all and let God sort ’em out.” That isn’t the gospel. The gospel tells us, “Love them all and let God sort them out.

February 13, 2018
Don’t get so busy believing what others tell you you have to believe that you don’t take time to believe what you do believe.

February 11, 2018
We all have done things we wish we had not, things that we have concluded are wrong. What the things are might be different, but is that a reason to grant ourselves sainthood and demonize those whose things are not our things? Do we only forgive those who have concluded somethings are wrong? Do we have a complete list? Does the blood only wash away the things on our list? Does grace discriminate?

February 9, 2018
There is no condemnation to those in Christ, there is grace. All of creation was created by Him, in Him, and for Him. He is life and has life within Himself and in Him we have life, even if we have no life within us. When He occupies the Holy of Holies within us, the temples of God’s Spirit, we have reborn life within us.

February 8, 2018
Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. The gospel was first delivered in Judea then the world. Love overcomes all fear and wisdom grows beyond the beginning, just as the gospel grew beyond Judea.

February 4, 2018
The people who whipped, mocked, and nailed Jesus to the cross were forgiven by Him without repenting. Kind of messes with religious doctrine doesn’t it. That is what grace does!

January 12, 2018
How will they have faith in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a proclaimer (see Romans 10:14)? As ministers we share our testimonies to invite people to turn back to God in their minds, confess with their mouths, believe from their hearts, and be taught by the anointing. We are messengers of the invitation.

January 7, 2018
With the grace of God and a turning back to God (repenting) you are no longer looking at sin but at the God of grace. There is no longer a need to meditate on the knowledge of good and evil. Meditate on the works of God, for God is good.

January 6, 2018
Have you ever had compassion for someone who was going through something? We are all going through something. In this world we have trials, be encouraged Jesus has overcome this world. He has had compassion for us all.

January 5, 2018
If someone in the Church (body of Christ) has hurt you, you should let them know, privately, between the parties involved. Speak the truth in love. Don’t go and try to give anyone their comeuppance. Don’t go in anger. Say it once. They may not see things the same way you do. Forgive and let your heart heal.

January 4, 2018
In my youth, I knew a man who had a longtime illness. He could barely talk and move one finger on one hand. Someone made him a machine that would read the Bible to him. It was rigged with a remote he could work it with his working finger. When you visited him, all he wanted to talk about was the kingdom of God. With all his physical issues, all was well with his soul.
