Become Part of the Body

A couple years past the Spirit had me teach on walking beside our brethren in Christ as fellow servants. The ministry gifts, we use as titles, do not give anyone of us the right to rule over those that serve among us in the body of Christ; but we are fellow servants within the same body. And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy” (Revelation 19:10). Jesus came among us and walked among as one who came to serve. That is a testimony of Jesus and is contains a spirit of prophecy. Just as He came to serve, we are servants in this world – loving as He has loved.

Now the Spirit has asked those we have titled “Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, and Pastors and Teachers” learn that we all walk together as fellow servants in the body; “till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ” (Ephesians 4:13). The ministry gifts Jesus gave, ten days before the Holy Spirit was poured out onto all the earth, are for servants – ministers. Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus’ feet, and He healed them (Matthew 15:30). When they sat at Jesus’ feet they were healed. They were not under His feet, but at His feet. Why are healings so rare in the church? We cannot heal what is under our feet; Jesus heals what we sit at His feet, where He walks – brought to Him. And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you (Romans 16:20). Those under our feet, we have brought to be crushed with Satan and not to be healed by Christ Jesus. Ministers please hear what the Spirit is saying to the church.

Then they went out to see what had happened, and came to Jesus, and found the man from whom the demons had departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid (Luke 8:35). A man just freed from a possession of demons sat at Jesus’ feet. When people saw that he was at the feet of Jesus they were afraid. The man had lived in the tombs with the dead and wore no clothes, being possessed by many demons. Jesus possessed the Spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. The man newly feed from the demons sat at the feet of Jesus and not under His feet. The man was a brand new convert, newly freed, and sat at the feet of Jesus (who came among us as a servant). The man asked if he could follow Jesus and Jesus said, “Return to your own house, and tell what great things God has done for you.” And he went his way and proclaimed throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him (Luke 8:39). The man was a brand new convert, and Jesus did not ask Him to sit under Him for two or three years then go minister. Jesus sent Him into the ministry (to serve the gospel message) right away.
